Bálint Szlankó
Balint Szlanko is a journalist based in Budapest. He has previously worked in London, Beirut, and Brussels. His book about the politics of the new European Union (in Hungarian) is published by Athenaeum. (See flattering criticism of the book here.) Balint was educated in London, England. He started journalism in his native Hungary, working for Index.hu, a news and features website. Balint is currently New Europe columnist at Transitions Online.
